International Youth Conference 9 (IYC9) is scheduled to unfold in Los Angeles, California, and online at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Luskin School of Public Affairs. This edition, spearheaded by Team IYC, is backed by the collaboration with reputed organizations including UN-Habitat, AFS Intercultural Programs, IAAI, the Civil Society Unit of the UN Department of Global Communications, IOM UN Migration, UN Environment Program (UNEP) and more.

About International Youth Conference 9

The International Youth Conference (IYC) is a direct result of a call to action for youth attending the 68th UN Civil Society Conference (UNCSC), held in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, from 26 to 28 August 2019 with the support of the UN Civil Society Unit, Department of Global Communications and UN-Habitat.

IYC is an action-oriented, safe-dialogue platform led by youth leaders focusing on a different theme in every upcoming edition. The 9th edition of IYC will take place from 30 May to 2 June 2024 in hybrid mode at UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs in Los Angeles, California, USA in partnership with UN-Habitat, AFS Intercultural Programs, IAAI, the Civil Society Unit of the UN Department of Global Communications, IOM UN Migration, UN Environment Program (UNEP) and other partners.
